In case you are wondering, I am doing well.
All three days this week, I have done the following:
-Got up early & went for a walk.
-Packed my lunch for work.
-Left my debit card in the car on purpose (hidden, of course!), so i wouldn't be tempted to get food other than what I brought, or snacks in the gift shop or cafe. (Of course where i work is RIGHT BY the gift shop and the cafe!)
-Kept track of everything I ate, staying within my calorie budget.
Yay, me! Of course, it's only Day 3. But i am doing well, and determined more than ever to give it ALL I've got these next three weeks before my doctor appointment! :)
I know in my last post I said the goal was to walk 3x a week, but I decided I will get up & go walking everyday except Fridays & Sundays. Fridays I have to be at work earlier, and I have to be at church early on Sundays, because of music practice. But Monday-Thursday & Saturday? GAME ON.
My friend, Ashley, suggested a silly kind of game to keep it going! She said she got in a habit of putting a mark on her bathroom mirror (with lipstick!) every day that she did well. But if she messed up, she had to erase all the tally marks & start over. She got determined to keep it going & NOT erase one. Haha! Sounds funny but i decided, Why not?! So far i have 3 tally marks. :) WOOHOO!
I forgot to record my weight this week, but it was high, y'all. And it's already going back down, pretty quickly. Whew! :)

P.S. The voice on my exercise app sounds just like Mayim Balik. You know, the hilarious chic from Bing Bang Theory (& Blossom, back in the day). I kind of like that! :)
